apple Apple seeds eaten
in large quantities can be poisonous. Its juice can cause
diarrhea in children.
black seed
Black seeds, or black cumin seeds, have traditionally been used
in large doses to induce abortion. In large doses, melanthin in
black seed is toxic, and nigilline is paralytic.
cabbage
Can cause flatulence in some people.
cardamom
It is said that excessive use thins the blood. Not for ulcers.
Cardamom should never be boiled.
Addictive as a purgative, so avoid regular
use for that purpose. Not for those suffering from kidney
infections, abdominal pain or intestinal infections such as
appendicitis, enteritis or inflammation of the small intestine
and peritonitis. May cause abortion during the early months of
pregnancy if taken in large doses, best to be avoided by
pregnant women.
celery
Can cause allergic reactions in some when eaten before or after
vigorous exercise.
If allergic to ragweed, don't take
chamomile. Ragweed is usually mixed in with chamomile during
the harvesting process.
cider vinegar
May not be beneficial for some. Very few may be allergic to
vinegar. If sensitive to vinegar, try taking it with cold water
or rose water. But after taking in vinegar, gargle with plain
water to prevent the acid from remaining on the teeth.
corn
Causes food intolerance linked to symptoms of rheumatoid
arthritis, irritable bowel syndrome, headaches and
migraine-related epilepsy in children.
dates
Dates may cause headaches in susceptible individuals.
fenugreek
Do not use when pregnant.
fig
Figs may cause headaches in susceptible individuals.
