To improve voice quality, squeeze 2 limes and mix the juice with a pinch or two of slaked lime and 1
tablespoon honey with a pinch of salt added. Drink this mixture 1x a week.
To improve or clear voice, gargle with sage tea.
Take 1 teaspoon honey everyday to soothe the throat and ease voice stress.
To improve voice, gargle with sesame oil, hold in the mouth and rinse about vigorously. Spit out, then
massage gums gently with the index finger. Do this 2x daily.
Mix ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper and 3-4 drops of lemon juice cup in 1 cup boiling hot water. Stir and sip
slowly warm to clear voice stress.
Mix sea salt in water and use as gargle several times a day, or use lemon with honey instead to improve
voice.
Sip hot ginger tea slowly. Ginger tea is made by adding a few slices and peeled ginger root to 1 glass hot
water.
Simmer 4-5 cups water with slices of 3 large onions added. Strain. Drink 5-6 tsps of the mixture with 1
tbsp honey and a few drops lemon in 1 glass of warm water. Sip slowly. to ease congestion and reduce voice
stress.
Hoarse voice
Grind 2 peeled onions, strain for its juice and drink 2x daily for 2-3 days to clear a hoarse voice.
Boil 1 tsp aniseed in 1 cup water until it thickens and gargle with it when warm.
Make juice out of 10 basil leaves, add a little honey to it and lick the mixture.
Eat ¼ teaspoon cardamom seeds with 1 tablespoon honey every day.
Take a mixture of 1 teaspoon onion juice with 1 teaspoon honey.
Soak a handful of tamarind pulp in 1 glass cold water. Strain the pulp and leave overnight or keep in
the refrigerator. Drink it 2x daily until condition improves.
Grind 3-4 limes in a blender with a little water, then heat it up. Breathe in the vapor with the
mouth.
Add 1 tsp each cinnamon and cardamom into 1 glass boiling water. Filter and use as a gargle when warm.
Drink and gargle with comfrey, hops or licorice tea.
Laryngitis
Take 1 tsp apple cider vinegar with ½ glass water every hour for seven hours to soothe the larynx
and clear voice.
Mix the juice of 1 lime, a half thumb-sized ginger and 1 tbsp honey. Sip little by little.
