How to Stop Nose Bleed

  • Take a piece of betel leave, fold it into a small piece and insert in the bleeding nose. Lie down with the head placed high and a wet cloth placed on the forehead. Have plenty of rest.
  • Wash the nose, temples and neck with a cloth soaked in apple cider vinegar and water, or soak a cotton ball with white vinegar and plug in the bleeding nose for about 10 seconds.
  • For frequent nose bleeds, drink a mixture of 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar in ½ glass warm water 3x daily.
  • Use a few drops of lemon juice as nose drops for nose bleeds.
  • Drink a mixture of ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper in a glass of hot water for quick coagulation on nose bleed.
  • Apply a few drops mango juice from the soft kernel as nose drop for nose bleeds.
  • Use the juice of fresh coriander leaves as nose drops for nose bleeds.
  • Smell basil blossoms every now and then, or take 1-2 tablespoons with a little honey to control nose bleed.
  • Drink cool water.
  • Dip a cloth in cold water to use as compress on the forehead and nose. Blow the nose gently to get rid of any clots after a nose bleed.
  • Inhale a little cool water from the palm of the hand, then blow out gently.
  • Pinch and hold the nose for 2-3 minutes with the thumb and index finger while breathing normally through the mouth.
  • Drink cranberry or pomegranate juice on its own, or mix them together 1:1.
