10 Daily Healthy Habits

1. This is the first activity in the daily healthy habits routine. Upon rising in the morning, and before brushing the teeth, drink a glass of plain water, preferably that has been left overnight, mixed with a few teaspoons lemon juice or/and 1 teaspoon honey. Use a plastic or porcelain spoon for the honey. Don't use a metal spoon as it changes the composition of the honey.

2. Drink 6-8 glasses of purified water a day for a healthy hydrated body.

3. Take breakfast in the form of juicy fruits.

4. Fasting is one of the healthy habits that most people do not consider. Do an either complete fast, or fresh fruit fast for a few days when afflicted with a condition. This is to cleanse the system of toxins that is usually the cause of many diseases. It is also a healthy practice to fast (generally non-consecutive 2 days in a week) to rest the digestive system, maintain general health and prevent diseases.

5. Adopt good daily healthy habits (including practical eating tips and eating the right kinds of foods) to prevent constipation as this condition causes the body to accumulate toxins. It has been said that the stomach causes 90% of all diseases.

6. Avoid drinking with meals to reduce diluting the digestive fire.

7. Don’t take fruits with meals as they will ferment in the stomach.

8. Avoid or reduce significantly un healthy habits; smoking, liquor, processed and refined foods, sugar and sugary products, white flour and its products, salt, saturated fats, junk foods, the charred parts of grilled foods (as they are cancerous), carbonated drinks. Replace them with nutritious whole food meals and juices. Eat more fiber to cleanse the intestines.

9. Take dinner at least two hours before bedtime to maintain a healthy digestion. For bedtime snacks, eat a fruit or drink milk.

10. Exercising regularly is one of the healthy habits, especially in the morning, to stimulate perspiration and reduce the load on the eliminative organs in getting rid of toxins.
