Flu Treatment |Cold 4

Go to Flu and Cold 1 | 2 | 3 | 4

  • For breathing difficulty during cold or flu, inhale the mixture of 1 glass hot water, 1 tablespoon lemon juice and a pinch of salt by inhaling as long as possible through one nostril (and closing the other), then blow out. Repeat for the other nostril.
  • For a blocked and runny nose during cold and flu, inhale the vapors of 1 large container of boiling water that has been added with about ¼ cup salt. Inhale the steam deeply for a few seconds with eyes and mouth closed and a towel over the head to prevent the steam from escaping. Repeat 3-4x. Instead of salt, 1 teaspoon ginger can be used, or eucalyptus leaves, or just plain water.
  • Mix ¼ teaspoon grounded carom seeds and 1 teaspoon turmeric powder in 1 cup hot water. Take 1 tablespoon of the mixture with 1 tsp honey a few times a day.
  • Take a mixture of ½ tsp each ginger and lemon juices with a pinch of rock salt.
  • Cut an onion, boil it in 1 glass water, then drink.
  • Inhale the vapors of 1 glass of hot water that has been added with 1 tablespoon turmeric.
  • Take a mixture of ½ teaspoon fennel seed powder with 1 tsp honey 2-3x daily.
  • Add ½ teaspoon cayenne to 1 cup boiling water, then take 1 tablespoon of the liquid and mix with another 1 cup hot water. Sip the diluted mixture whenever required.
