41. Proportion meals according to time of day.
It is preferable to have a breakfast of fruits and fruit juices. Have the heaviest meal at lunch, where the digestive fire is strongest, and a small meal during dinner where in the later part of the day, the digestive fire is weakest.

42. Avoid mixing protein and starch.
These two need different environments for digestion. Starch is digested much more easily while protein need a more acidic environment. When combined, neither has an ideal environment for digestion. Also never eat sugar and protein at the same time. Protein should be eaten first, followed by legumes and grains, then vegetables such as salads. Since protein needs acid for its digestion; by ingesting water, fruit, or salad before the protein you dilute the hydrochloric acid needed for the digestive process. Properly combining foods prevents bloating, constipation, heartburn, indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome, migraine, malabsorption and bloating (gas).

43. Don't talk with food in the mouth.
Not only out of politeness, it also prevents air from entering the system.

44. Avoid ice or drinking iced liquid.
They inhibit digestion and create toxins. Cold water also deadens the thirst signals, making you drink less that you should. Getting into the habit of drinking room-temperature water will improve the digestion and improve overall feelings while eating and after meals.

45. Don't drink hot water mixed with cold or iced water.
Water in different forms have different molecule composition. An interesting fact is that water has memory, and every little thing done to the water affects its molecules. Leave hot water to cool on its own, combining these two extremities cause changes in the water molecules that is cancer-causing.

46. Don't drink immediately before, after or when having a meal. Drink half-an-hour after meals.
The digestive process is a fire burning fuel (food). Water douses fire, it impedes the digestive process in the stomach when eaten within a half hour of a meal. If you have to drink during a meal, drink warm water, not cold. Also, don't drink tea after a meal as it hardens its protein, making digestion difficult.
