Asthma is a chronic condition of the lung, characterized by the tightening of the chest and difficulty in breathing.

Dust control is crucial for those allergic to, and asthmatic due to dust and airborne particles.

 

  • Boil 3-4 garlic cloves in 1 glass of milk and take them at the onset (early stages) of asthma.
  • Since appetite for food will be affected, drink warm water every two hours and don't force oneself to eat.
  • Asthma control : Fast for the initial 3-4 days on lemon juice mixed with honey. Then start on fruit juice for a few more days to cleanse the system and clear off toxins. Solid foods consisting of fresh fruits, vegetables and germinated gram can then be gradually added to the diet. Take carbohydrates, fats and proteins in limited amounts as they are acid-forming. Avoid eating late supper, instead have dinner at least two hours before bedtime.
  • Ease breathing : Inhale the air from a jug of honey and repeat every hour or so. Alternatively, mix 1 teaspoon honey with 1 glass water to thin out and expel mucus, and also prevents mucus production in the near future.
  • Add 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar in 1 cup water and leave the mixture to settle for half hour. Drink the mixture and repeat treatment until wheezing clears.
